generally speaking i like 'my morning jacket' but i definitely don't like everything they do. this is the best song i've heard from them. it's called 'if you touch me, i'm going to scream part two' from their new album 'evil urges.' i heard it on npr's all songs considered spring preview. thanks to heckster for sparking my interest in this group early on.

The new album was leaked a few weeks ago; I have a copy of it and must say that I am impressed. It is very MMJ in the sense that.. this album sounds like them, but is unlike their others; it takes what was their music and brings it to the next level. So far each release for them has been able to accomplish this... something very few bands can do successfully. I will not compare MMJ to Radiohead (apples to oranges), but I respect Jim James for continuing to strive for what's next, never settling on what was... very much like Thom Yorke's approach to music.
