PAUL WRITES: Every once in a great while you hear an album that you know from the first time you listen to it, will change the way you feel about music... I have been getting into Will Oldham and his music for maybe six months, except I didn't really make the connections. He has made music under a bunch of different band names (Palace Music, Palace Brothers, Will Oldham, and a bunch others) but he is best known as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy...I picked up one of his newer albums called "The Letting Go," and I was completely blown away by each track. Please do what you have to do and get this album... I think its even available on iTunes. This guy must have been a huge Nick Drake fan... but he has his own folky, backwoods sound... its hauntingly reverent and yet completely refreshing.
UPDATE: Paul says to listen to 'Lay and Love.'
