For my first post, I will make a few bold statements... 1. the Fleet Foxes "Sun Giant EP" (April 2008) is the best release of 2008 (unless Michael Jackson decides to come out with a new record, but I wouldn't hold out for that) 2. the Fleet Foxes "Fleet Foxes" album (which came out last month) is in the Top 5 releases this year. 3. If you haven't heard either of these please do what you have to do to get them immediately, like iTunes (if you don't like either of them I will personally send you a check for whatever you paid for both).

Also, this past Tuesday was a huge release day for anyone into trip-hop, electronica, jam music with new albums from STS9 and Ratatat, both of which are impressive.

I came across these guys a few months ago via Pandora. Amazing! The whole album is very solid. White Winter Hymnal...nuff said!
